District Band

The students listed below were selected to be members of the All District Band this past Saturday.

Kayla Horsman won the Ernie Pratt (former band director here at Kickapoo) Memorial scholarship.  This scholarship is given  to an applicant who is continuing in music in college.  Kayla plans on becoming a teacher with specific desires to help kids who have medical issues.   Kayla was hospitalized for two years and had teachers who taught her how to play piano.  The help she received during her own medical battle instilled a love and passion for music and she is now eager to share her passion with others.

Thursday’s Game has been moved!

Varsity Football vs. Parkview @ JFK, 6:15  pm

We will recognize the seniors at this game.   We will also take advantage of the great JFK field and possibly due a post game performance in preparation for Saturday.  All of this will be weather permitting of course.

Parents, you are asked to provide transportation
